October 4, 2010 – Technology and Knowledge

Technology is widely present and develops exponentially. The distinction between humans and objects seems to fade while simultaneously the promise rings of a possible point of technological singularity in the (very) near future. What are the consequences of these technological developments, how does it reflect on knowledge and what could be the impact on the Next Generation Bank?

November 1, 2010 – Social and Individual

The social ‘Umfeld’ is strongly subject to change. While some social connections weaken, we see new ones developing. Relations change, between citizen & state, neighbor & neighbor, generation & generation and company & customer. Trends influencing these developments merit identifying and it is important to discuss the impact of these trends and developments on our society.

December 6, 2010 – Organization and Leadership

Organizations, both commercial and not-for-profit, move in the field of multiple communities and techniques. In previous seminars we explored trends in these environments. What kind of organization do we need to cope with the developments that were previously identified? What type of leadership do we need in this new organization? What are the implications for work culture, work place, hierarchy and organizational structure?

January 10, 2011 – Synthesis: Next Generation Bank
